Kitchen and bathroom together

A lot of home renovation projects centre on a kitchen and bathroom update at the same time. The economics make sense: you're already in disruption mode, the plumber is already on site, and dealing with both rooms at once is often faster than doing them in sequence with months in between.

We handle both in-house. The kitchen plumbing, sink, appliance connections, bathrooms strip-out and refit: it's one programme, one quote, one team. When you're also replacing a bathroom and the supply pipework for both rooms runs from the same area of the house, doing it at once saves significant time versus doing each room separately.

Managing the sequence

The order work happens in matters. Plumbing first-fix before plasterboard goes up. Tiling after the walls are right. Second-fix once the decorating is done. If you get the sequence wrong, you end up redoing things: re-plumbing after the tiler has finished, or tiling over a surface that needs replastering.

We're familiar with how multi-room projects sequence properly and we'll give you a clear programme before the first day on site. That includes what other trades we'll need alongside us: plastering, electrical, decorating. We work with trusted people for those elements and can either coordinate them or work alongside your own contacts.

A typical home renovation project of this kind takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on scope. A kitchen and bathroom together with pipework updates: probably 3 weeks. Adding an en suite to that: another few days. You'll have a realistic timeline upfront, not a guess that gets revised every week.
